St Nicholas Church of England

The growing vision of St. Nicholas Church in Laindon is to be a community of faith and a place of encounter with Jesus where people of all ages and walks of life find welcome, healing, renewed strength, direction and purpose in their lives.

Our main Sunday service with Holy Communion is at 10.00am.

On the first Sunday of each month at 10.00am, we hold a shorter service for all ages with songs and hymns and without Holy Communion.

Also on the first Sunday of each month, we have Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer at 6.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to all of our services.

The church does not have a post code but SS15 5NX is the postcode for James Hornsby School which is nearby.

  • St. Nicholas Nippers, a mums and pre-school session takes place on Tuesdays 9.30 to 11.00am.
  • Messy Easter and Christmas details can be found on our website prior to the events.
  • Mothers’ Union meets on the first Wednesday of each month and details are on our website.
