Joint Celebrations

Churches Together in Basildon organises three Celebrations a year. These take place mainly at the larger churches in the town or occasionally in a school hall in the town. The people who attend enjoy meeting in a large gathering and worshipping God with many people together. Lots of friendships have developed between people in different churches that meet at these celebrations. Every Celebration has a period of Worship with Hymns Praise  and Worship Songs. Music is provided by musicians from the local church or gathered together from a number of churches. There is always an uplifting Message lots of news of what is happening in Churches Together and always a collection. Over £700 was collected to provide Shelter Boxes for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Afterwards there is always time for coffee or tea and bicuits and a chance to catch up with friends from other churches.  

The next Celebration will be at Kingswood Baptist Church at 6.30pm on 29th January 2012. The celebration will feature the  work of the School Team Ministry. The new worker worker, Becky Keith will speak about her vision for the future of the  work and Sam Donoghue, a previous STM worker will be preaching.
